He developed passion for performing arts, particularly storytelling and acting. This prepared him for his professional acting career. He also did Performing arts at Lewisham College and went ahead to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where he graduated in 2016.

Pierre’s career began with roles in the TV series The A Word and Britannia. He gained more recognition when he starred in the series Krypton as Dev-Em. Thereafter, he starred in Berry Jenkin’s miniseries The Underground Railroad where he portrayed the character Ceasar, a runaway slave who joins a secret network of railways to escape slavery.

In 2021, Pierre appeared in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller film Old. In the same year, he also starred in the Netflix thriller film Rebel Ridge. In 2024, Aaron appeared in the miniseries Genius and voiced Mufasa in Mufasa: The Lion King.

Nominations and Awards

In 2018, Pierre was nominated for the Ian Charleson Award for his professional stage debut as Cassio in Othello.
